Odd Hive

On the hunt for a species of bee mentioned in an ancient Greek legend, three young apiarists are led to an isolated islet in the Aegean Sea. It was said that when eaten, the honey of these bees could produce elysian dreams, and upon learning the truth of the rumor Mark, Lester and Luc decide to share their findings with the world. When the people living around the hives begin having hallucinations in their waking hours, it’s apparent they had discovered only a nightmare. While their realities slip away into showdowns with their inner demons, the three try to put a stop to the release of their product.

Directed by Niamh O’leary, 2014.
