Delmar Pauper

Seeking a fresh start after a separation from her husband, melancholy natured Beth Clark moves her life to the southern coast of France, far from her New England roots. Characters both friendly and daunting populate the seaside paradise of Cléo, some prying deeper into her past than she’s happy to share. Intoxicated by the lush scents and tastes of her new home, she finds herself entangled in the dramas of the riviera town. As the secrets of her former life are revealed, so are devilish mysteries concerning the town and its people.

Directed by Sher Renaux, 1987.
